God is good

Many people today are questioning their faith. They are feeling lost, alone, and without hope. It is important to remember that God is good and always there for you. Even when you can't see him or feel his presence. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Keep your mind open to the idea of god existing. God's goodness is seen in his creation of the earth. As well as how people are blessed with many things to enjoy every day. Continue reading this article for some tips on how to heal your soul and save it from destruction with God's help.

Why God is good?

The Bible says: "Good you are, and good you dish out. Teach me your order."

Psalm 119:68

The Lord has done so much good in this world, including providing food, clothing, and companionship.

God's goodness offers benefits to people in so many ways. One way we know that God is good, can be seen in the beauty of nature. God's goodness is visible everywhere in nature, from a mountain top to deep down at sea level. The trees provide fresh air to breathe and shade from the sun. Flowers are beautiful with their varied colors. Animals help us in many ways. God has given us summer, autumn, winter, and spring. And the beauty of each season. These things any many more demonstrate a creator's love for his children.

God is good in our daily life

"The Lord has done great things."

Psalm 126:3

If you are looking for proof that God is good, look at all the great things He has created for us. The love He gives us through our friends, family, and those we meet for the first time. God has given us wonderful companionship, the ability to create music (and other art). He has given us laughter through comedy and so many other tangible and intangible gifts. He gives us all the good foods like fruits, vegetables and grains. God has given people a long-term life perspective so that they can enjoy the pleasures of today. He has created a world where everything has its order and works together perfectly. This cannot be a coincidence, but is the work of a loving and almighty God.

God is good as Saviour

So God is good. But he's even better than that because he gave his one and only son, Jesus Christ. Our Lord and Savior who died upon the cross for our sins. Through his sacrifice we could have eternal everlasting life in Heaven. The apostle John writes:

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."

John 3:16

He truly loves us all because he did not just die for those who deserved his love but also took care of those who didn't deserve it at all (Romans 5:8).

These are just some of the many reasons why god is good.

You're a child of God

Mankind is a small part of god's creation, but that does not mean he doesn't love or care for it. If we are his children, why would he not take care of us? The Bible says:

"He watches over the smallest sparrows and knows when one falls from its nest."

Luke 12:24

Each day has its own challenges is another sentence from the scripture sentence. The focus should be on the tasks of today you need to overcome - with gratefulness.

So don't worry about tomorrow - God is taking care of you!

God's hidden benefits

We think of God's goodness when something big happens. But His goodness is also abundant in the small moments of everyday life. We cannot hide from God, because as the All-Knowing One, He always knows where we are (Psalm 139).

With a glance he can see the most hidden longings of our heart. This means that God will always be there. He takes care of all the problems and needs we have. It is up to us whether we want that or not. There are many benefits for you if you follow His rules. Even if not always.

The benefits of faith are often the best kept secrets. Faith in Jesus Christ gives us the ability to overcome our challenges and fears. As a result, we are able to give hope to others around us as well.

God is good - all the time?

No, not always. He is good at what He does and wants us to do the best. But like all people, we can make mistakes and sin. Because of the consequences involved, such as eternal damnation or separation from God, we can feel His wrath and punishment upon us.

God allows evil to happen so that the good He wants can happen.

"Mine is the vengeance. I will repay." And further, "The Lord will judge his people."

Hebrews 10:30

Nevertheless, God is very merciful. For when someone sins, God always gives him the opportunity to correct his mistake. With deep repentance and conversion, He forgives the sins. For example, if someone lies he can make amends by telling the truth in the future and apologizing for lying in the past.

No human being is perfect and perfect. God does not expect them to be. But he wants to see us strive to become better and holier people.

Why do bad things happen in this world?

We live in a world where people get hurt and angry very often. Sometimes people can be angry with each other for no reason at all. Also, some people find it hard to believe that there is a loving God. Especially when they see children starving or bad misfortunes happening. But that is not the whole story!

It is important to understand that these bad things happen for a reason. Namely, so that something better will happen afterwards. A misfortune is often a call of God's grace to repentance. It does not make the bad things good, but it gives hope that something better will come.

How to respond to God's Goodness?

Prayer

"Whatever you faithfully ask for in prayer, you will receive."

Matthew 21:22

Pray to God. He will always be there for us and answer our prayers every day. He can give you His strength and provide a safe haven for your soul if you ask Him. Pray for your fellow man to find Jesus and be saved. For if they do not believe, their souls are in danger. A powerful prayer is, for example, the prayer of the Rosary.

Thanksgiving

The Lord wants to bless us. We have a choice: we can refuse His blessings or accept them with gratitude. Include a thanksgiving in your prayer. Thank God for all the blessings in your life.

Read the Bible

God speaks to us through the bible. Read it regularly or if possible every day. Even when you don't want to or feel like doing so. It will help keep your mind open and remind you of how much he loves each person individually.

Praise the Lord Jesus

Praise and extol the Lord whenever you can!

The Book of Psalms in the Old Testament is a collection of songs and praise to God. "Praise God for what He has done, praise Him in His great glory!" "I rejoice and am glad in you and praise your name, O Most High." (Psalm 9)

"LORD, arise in your strength, and we will sing and praise your might."

Psalm 21

We are to praise God always and everywhere!

Works of Mercy

Do one work of mercy every day. This can be as simple as complimenting someone, doing something nice for your spouse or child, or helping someone at the grocery store. But it should always be done with God in mind and His love flowing through you to those around you!

Fasting

Fast once a week. You can fast for as long as you feel comfortable - one day or one meal. Fasting is a powerful sacrifice for atonement. Fasting also helps cleanse the body and eliminate toxins.

Last but not least

Give back if you can! Offer a prayer or donate some money to someone who needs it more than you do.

In Conclusion

God is good and He always will be. Do not let anyone tell you that God is not good. Anyone who says such a thing is simply wrong! If you want to be with Him in heaven one day, start acting like that now. Being merciful to others is a way to show God and Jesus that you love Him. Make up your mind: accept the Lord's leading and follow what He has planned for you!
